Before I learned that I was pregnant, I literally thought I was dying. Pregnancy is the only time I’ve had that amount of fatigue.
I could barely move off the couch to take care of my 2-yr-old. I remembered the exhaustion from my pregnancy with him and felt powerless against it.
I had exercised my whole first pregnancy and it only helped a little with the first trimester fatigue.
I tried drinking more water and taking prenatal vitamins and fish oil. I made sure I got plenty of sleep.
I meditated all the time, but the exhaustion was still unbearable.

Every pregnancy is different. But, once I hit the second trimester, I felt much better, but for three months, things were rough.
I had to literally roll myself out of bed and then crawl across the floor to start up my gaming system with YouTube.
I found exercises that I could do while lying on the floor, while mumbling, “I can do this! I can do this!” over and over. Yoga and Pilates floor exercises were the easiest.
I feared if I exercised while standing, that I’d fall from overexertion!

Natural Home Remedies for Pregnancy Fatigue (That Really Work!)
According to WebMD, you need about double the amount of iron while pregnant to help your body make the extra blood that supports your baby.
This amounts to roughly 27 mg/per day for pregnant mamas. Iron deficiency is very common in pregnant and nursing mothers and is called anemia.
This will cause loss of strength for you and can result in a small or preterm baby.
Babies who are iron deficient in the womb are also more likely to develop anemia later in life. Iron also helps you tune in during your own meditations!
Natural Iron Supplements Increase Energy While Being Pregnant
The iron is taken from raw organic whole foods. It also includes Vitamin C and B Vitamins to help with iron absorption, as well as pre- and probiotics to help with digestion.

(The Game Changer and my best intuitive answer). If you ignore everything else in this post, do not ignore this one! This answer came to me while I was in “The Meditation Zone”.
That beautiful space during meditation where your rational mind finally shuts up and all you hear is your breath. I saw and heard, “Vanilla Protein Powder”.
I must’ve protested thinking protein powders I’ve tried in the past were gross, because the voice said, “You can mix it with any fruit you like. It’s a game changer.”
